Connect or reconnect

How the integration is authorised against a QuickBooks Online company.

The integration uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorisation flow. No QuickBooks username or password is ever entered into, stored by, or visible to the integration.

To connect

Sign in to QuickBooks Online as an administrator of Epiphany Content Ltd.
Start the authorisation flow from the integration and select the Epiphany Content Ltd company.
Review the requested permissions on Intuit's consent screen and approve.
Intuit returns an authorisation code, which the integration exchanges for access and refresh tokens.

To reconnect

If the refresh token expires or the connection is revoked, repeat the same steps. A new authorisation replaces the previous tokens.

Permissions requested. Accounting scope only (com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting), which covers customers, invoices, products and services, and company information.
